Is TikTok Getting Banned?

Hi Reader,

It seems that we have access back to TikTok for the time being but I honestly don't know how long that is going to be for. The law did pass both chambers and get signed into law. Then SCOTUS upheld it so if at any point in time a new law doesn't get passed rescinding the old one or the app doesn't get sold it's still could go away.

With that being said I made a video on exactly what I would do right now if I were you and I relied on TikTok for my business.

The crucial lesson for every business owner in 2025 is to diversify. You cannot rely on a single income source, a single traffic source or a single other person to prop you up.

My Number ONE Tip: Get a domain name to match your TikTok handle so people can find you when they search for you. Chances are good that not every TikTok user is on the other platforms.

I personally don't use YouTube the same way I use Instagram or Google. They all have their purposes and I guarantee you your audience are the same way.

I hope it's here to stay but honestly I don't trust this government on this decision or many others.

I hope you give it a watch and implement a few things I mentioned.

Not because your Pins need to be the most beautiful thing anyone has ever seen on the internet. They don’t. But they do need to do their job quickly. A good Pin should help someone...

Hi Reader, One of the biggest mistakes I see people make when they try to use Pinterest for their Substack is this: They treat the article title like it has to become the Pin title. And sometimes that works. But a lot of the time? It doesn’t. Because Substack titles are often written for people who already know you. They can be more personal, clever, reflective, editorial, or opinion-based. Pinterest titles need to work a little differently. They need to make sense to someone who has no...

Hi Reader, I think one of the biggest reasons affiliate Pins underperform on Pinterest is because they feel like ads too fast. And people can feel that immediately. They can feel when a Pin was made to push a product instead of helping them find something useful, inspiring, or relevant to what they’re already looking for. That’s usually where things go wrong. A lot of affiliate Pins lead with: the product name the product image the fact that it’s linked But not the actual reason someone would...
