What people think Pinterest strategy is…

Hey Reader,

Let’s talk about something I see all the time:

People say they’re “doing Pinterest.”

But what they really mean is this:

  • They post blog graphics with the same title and text overlay every time
  • They skip keyword research because “it looks fine”
  • They pin a few things here and there—no board strategy, no rhythm, just vibes

But here’s the thing:

That’s not a Pinterest strategy. That’s posting and hoping.

Real Pinterest strategy looks different.

It includes things like:
✅ SEO for Pinterest (yes, it matters)
✅ A creative strategy for Pins—not just branding, but conversion
✅ Boards built with purpose: tied to your offers, search intent, and user journey
✅ A consistent pinning rhythm—no more all-at-once bursts followed by weeks of silence

I had a student named Leslie who was stuck in that first category—she was pinning when she remembered to, and nothing was really landing. No keyword plan. No structure. No results.

Once she joined my program, everything changed.

Leslie went from haphazard pinning to:
➡️ Growing impressions
➡️ Steady clicks to her website
➡️ And 5–10 new email signups per week (sometimes more)

The difference?

She finally had a system—and a strategy.

You don’t need more templates. You need direction.

Inside my program, we build real Pinterest strategy like this every day—one step at a time.

Talk soon,
Heather

Hey Reader, Let me guess. You did the Pinterest keyword research. You even opened Pinterest Trends and found a few keywords that looked promising. But now you're staring at your scheduler like… what do I do with these? You’re not alone. This is one of the biggest bottlenecks I see across clients, students, and even other marketers. Hey Reader, Let’s have an honest chat about something that gets way less attention than it should—Pinterest board covers. If you're thinking, “Do board covers even matter anymore?” you’re not alone.
