Connecting Instagram to Pinterest - Should You?

Hello Reader,

Should you connect Instagram to Pinterest? That IS the question.

This connection doesn't make sense if you're looking to use it to drive conversions with your Instagram content and you don't bother editing it.

For example, you're a digital product seller and you create a reel showcasing your product. That post auto-posts on Pinterest from Instagram.

Because of the connection the link is going to direct the pinner back to Instagram and the caption is going to be your IG caption.

This isn't great if you're looking to drive conversions to that digital product. No one wants to go from Pinterest to Instagram to link in the bio to hopefully find the product. That's bunk.

So instead I'm giving you a few options to consider in this weeks video.

That’s posting and hoping. Real Pinterest strategy looks different. It includes things like: ✅ SEO for...

Reader, In my last email, I mentioned that even great content won’t perform if your Pinterest foundation is cracked. Here’s what that actually looks like: Boards that aren't optimized for search Links that send people back to your Instagram No links at all (because someone on Reddit said it would "reset your algorithm") Sending traffic only to your blog and neglecting your paid offers or lead magnets Copying what your competitors are doing and blending into the “sea of sameness” But here’s...

Reader, Here’s the truth no one likes to hear: Even great content won’t perform if your foundation is off. And that’s exactly why so many creators and sellers are frustrated with Pinterest. They’re pinning consistently. Their graphics look amazing (because they copied what everyone else is doing). They’ve even watched a dozen Pinterest tutorials… But the traffic? The leads? The sales?Still flat. And here’s the kicker—a lot of the time, it’s not necessarily your strategy that’s broken. It’s...
