If You’re Not Doing This, You’re Missing Pinterest Traffic

Hey Reader,

You put so much effort into creating content, but what if your audience isn’t sharing it?

That’s the biggest missed opportunity I see when it comes to Pinterest marketing. People assume that if they create great content, it will magically get pinned. But the reality is… if you don’t make it easy for people to share your content, they won’t.

🔹 Did you know? Most Pinterest users discover content through saves—not just fresh pins. That means every time someone shares your content, you get in front of a whole new audience.

🔹 The problem? If your blog or website doesn’t have Pinterest-friendly sharing buttons, people may not take the extra step to pin your content. Even worse if they do share it they might be sharing images that aren't at all optimized for Pinterest.

🔹 The solution? You need the right Pinterest sharing buttons in place to encourage easy pinning.

Now most website platforms have sharing buttons built in so this week I'm focusing on my Wordpress users.

I just released a new video breaking down exactly why you need sharing buttons and how they impact your Pinterest traffic. Watch it here ⬇️

Your boards could be...

Hello Reader, Pinterest just announced a major update: they’re rolling out AI-generated content labels across the platform. This means if you're using AI tools like DALL·E or Midjourney to create Pin images (or even AI-assisted designs in tools like Canva), Pinterest will start labeling those images as AI-generated. Here’s what you need to know: This is part of Pinterest’s effort to build trust and transparency as AI content becomes more common. Pinterest's own AI labeling technology will...
